    Credits are fine


    The only irreparable damage I've detected so far is about 5 (unknown) avatars/attachments on the forums, the rest is shit like tf2 replays, sprays and torrents

    Server is currently running on one hard disk

    The other is running a badblocks read-write non-destructive test which will take the next ~12 hours and after which hopefully it can be re-added to the raid array.

    A read-only badblocks test of both disks was done while the server was offline, both returned no errors which is a very promising result.

    I'm now begging the question what is actually actually causing all of these problems. If the badblocks come back good, the RAID is repaired and the main RAID disk is switched to the F3 which is not so temperamental, but we're still having issues, then what?!
    (May have forgotten something here, brain has switched off)

    The sectors are marked offline by the disk controller now, the read access from badblocks will just return zeroes without error

    With a bit of luck the write test will force it to reallocate the sectors

    badblocks write test passed with no errors - suggesting my original theory that the bad sectors have always existed (G-Sense on this disk is 1 and 0 on the other) and/or are not a sign of failure was correct

    Just waiting on a SMART long self test now and then I'll start rebuilding the raid

    May be an issue with MC servers on certain plugins. MySQL has decided to die on me, hoping a restart fixes all. Cannae be asked to investigate the issue right now.

    EDIT: Not sure if linked but pacman doesn't want to update right now. D:
