@Gaw @Dark Looks like the dedi rebooted. Everything went down for a minute or so. As such, the TF2 servers need a manual restart.
no jack you dont understand, what has died must remain dead for the purpose of the universe's entropy to continue
@Dark @Gaw Seems most of the TF2 servers decided to go pear shaped. Most likely due to the update what was pushed today.
All sorted now, valve decided to change the location of the main server binary which meant it was not whitelisted by PaX and got killed continually, thanks valve Let me know if any plugins (read: prophunt) are broken
Finally had some free time to work on GM, so: - Fixed certain HLstatsX player listings throwing a server error - Removed some unused font awesome cancer, may speed up page rendering - Replaced ads for guests with better responsive ad units - Turned image ads back on (aka the fake download buttons are back) - Removed cloudfront CDN, not really achieving anything - Moved entire site to HTTPS, since google is getting increasingly salty about unencrypted http - Enabled HTTP2 across the whole site, should be a fair bit faster - Removed mumble widget for now as it is no longer maintainable Please report any issues with HTTPS, especially broken images or videos in posts/signatures
Baked channel/user serialisation into Kirino, so mumble widget is back and no longer requires crazy amounts of maintenance
I've noticed since these updates that the sprays page has not been updating. The latest spray was uploaded at 16:07 on 28th Dec.
@Dark An odd occurrence with the DSock and Slothbox. The DSock is updating fine on Discord. You can see all of the posted messages from yesterday in the #dsock channel. But, none of them posted to the Slothbox on the front page of the site nor the specific page on the forums for the Taigachat. Just figured it would be worth mentioning.
Ty for the heads up The cause was a new one, someone with a really long name sent a message from MGEMod (which is the longest server name), creating an overall name longer than the previous limit of 50 characters
Found and removed the extension that was causing the TF2 item server connection to silently fail, and by a nice stroke of luck it wasn't being used for anything Should be all working as before now
