TTT is now back online!

• PointShop 2 updates and new content
  • New clientside "My Settings" tab allows you to disable all items, activate lowend mode or adjust draw distance
  • Weapons can now be bought and equipped via PS2
    • You only receive 1 clip, so you will have to scavenge for ammo like everyone else
    • The old donator F5 weapon menu is gone, as I feel it was unfair to regular users
      • As compensation: Bronze VIPs - 5 credits, Silver VIPs - 10 credits, Gold VIPs - 15 credits
  • Pets and Trails tabs have been removed for now. You can equip your existing items no problemo.
  • Added the Rebirth Crate and Key
    • Very rare items include Popstar Ahri, Korra and a permanent 50% fall reduction boost
    • You also have an extremely rare chance of getting an Unusual Hat or Accessory (we tf2 boys)
    • Improvements and more crates will come if this trial is popular
  • Introduced a drops system at the end of the round
    • You have a 10% chance of getting a drop
    • Drop pool includes all weapons, the Rebirth Crate and the Rebirth Key (extremely rare)
  • Added 20% Speed Boost items to the shop (untested, may be changed)
  • Added Weed Item Bundle:
    • Snoop Dogg, Snipars and Mr. Dank playermodels
    • Mooove bitch, Nichismoke, xxXSerialPervertWeedmanXxx, Don't worry and BIG WEED taunts
  • Added taunts and other items I don't remember it has been too long
  • Organized Player Models into categories
  • The shop is approximately 60% faster and more responsive due to optimization
• Online Store (it now has to be epicw.in/store)
  • 25% sale on all items until August 7th (next sale will be at Christmas)
  • You can now pay with Stripe or PayPal. Hopefully soon I will be able to accept bitcoin, mobile, giftcards and hundreds of other payment methods. Not guaranteed that will happen though.
  • I will be keeping a small percentage of the transactions to try and recuperate all of the money I've spent, but rest assured the vast majority of the money will go towards TTT and other upcoming servers.
    • 15% of transactions will be retained long-term for emergencies, to prevent this happening again
  • Type !store in chat to view your packages and/or visit the store
  • Top donators are automatic now
  • Monthly goal bar added
  • Credit packages have been changed and been made more clear. On average, they are cheaper than before
  • 5 Rebirth Keys available for 10 credits (5 for the price of 2, compared to PS2 price)

TTT is now back up, there are a couple of changes

• Added 'Radio Jammer' traitor weapon and related Detective immunity item
• Added 'Foot Vision' item and related immunity 'Sheep Wool Shoes' item for Traitors + Detectives
• Donator Hats tab is now Clan Member hats for now
• Player models tab is hidden for now

Will look into other servers and stuff over the next couple of days. Admin applications will be opening soon too.

• Created new golden icons for all custom content to distinguish from stock items
• Volume is now correctly reduced on epicw.in
• Added new 'innocent' weapons - AK47, AUG, Dual Elites, Galil, MP5, P228
• Added new traitor weapon - Headcrab Launcher

• Few karma changes
  • Maximum karma is now 2000, minimum remains at 500
  • Once your karma reaches 500, you are banned for 4 days
  • These bans will not be shortened
• Majorly updated scoreboard to be much nicer
  • We now have 5 main groups
    • Owner (Pink)
    • Admin (Blue
    • Donator (Green)
    • Clan Member (Yellow)
    • User (White)
    • The donator rank can merge with any other group too
  • I've decided not to use the Super Admin group anymore, I'll evalulate the need for it in the future, but nobody needs commands like 'Jail', 'Noclip', 'Ragdoll' etc. I want us all to move away from our predisposition to abuse admin commands
• In addition, we now have a ULX warning system
  • Admins can !warn <player> <reason>
  • If a player reaches 3 warnings, they are banned for 1 day
  • Your warnings are reduced by 1 for every 2 hours of play
  • This should now be the default punishment option for RDM and other minor offenses
  • Obviously if they come back after a ban and are still rule breaking, a longer ban will be issued

Note: FastDL is currently broken in Garry's Mod. Garry has been aware of the issue for over 3 weeks but has yet to release an update. We have a workaround, but as a result downloads will be slower, and I wasn't able to implement the PointShop to my liking (mostly the Player Models tab).

  • Pricing structure has been designed to reward large donators even more!

  • There is an inaugural raffle with a prize of 950,000 points + 19,000 premium points

• Updated existing Master Chief playermodel
• Added new Master Master Chief playermodel
• Added 5 new masks made by @Luna
• Added many player model/hat suggestions
• Added new warning system, VGUI accessible to admins with !warn (or just doing !warn player reason)
  • 3 warnings = kicked
  • 5 warnings = banned for 3 days
  • decay time = 60 minutes

 

After a few hours work, the TTT server has been fully updated to work with GMOD 13. There's a slight issue with the first round of a map, and there's no ULX until Dark can SVN it and ulib or until it's properly released. But aside from that, it seems to be working perfectly now.

edit: Server is very popular as it's one of the only functioning ones - with just a couple GM people to start it up, it's been at a constant 25ish people for the past few hours half the day

 

Alright, there seems to be some deliberation going on right now with the TTT server. Some people want the server to be serious, and some want it to be more relaxed and fun. I'm going to do a ranking poll now, to see what the majority want.

In serious, everyone will be expected to play by the rules. Possessing props will be completely disabled, there will be little to no custom weapons and the maps will all be respectable maps, fun but not unbalanced.

With a fun server, the rules might be more relaxed, you'll be able to possess props with perhaps brief periods of really ridiculous props like what Reag suggested above, there will be custom weapons such as Jihad Bombs, there will be some funny maps etc.

If you want a serious server, vote Agree. If you want a fun server, vote Disagree.

 

Changelog for the past few days:

• Added ZedTime Traitor weapon (Activates slow motion for a few seconds, allowing you to pick off people a little bit easier)
• Added Slow Motion on round end (If you've played on the server at all since Friday you'll know about this, the last kill now triggers a slow motion effect adding some crazy antics to post round deathmatch and also a great feeling of satisfaction upon killing somebody
• Buffed H.U.G.E, reducing recoil and increasing damage
• Nerfed Silenced TMP considerably, reducing damage and clip size and ensuring you can only purchase it once
• Added and removed a couple of maps
• Due to intense sexual persuasion (Much appreciated btw), I've thrown an RTV script on. Once enough votes are met, the map will change once the current round ends. Let me know of any bugs please.

I've also released a few videos of our antics over the weekend/today and I'm always recording all the games I play, in case of some crazy shenanigans! It should hopefully increase the server popularity even more so.

 

I'm really sorry for how late this update is! I had ridiculous electrical and plumbing problems for the past 2 weeks. They think it is fixed now.

Halloween Event!

• Scary spells will spawn around all of the maps for you to use
  • Bind a key to "dospell" to use them. e.g. type "bound mouse3 dospell" in console
    • Super Jump
    • Fireball
    • Electric Boogaloo
    • Heal Worship
    • Teleport Balls
• Added explosive pumpkins on all of the maps
• Added presents that spawn around the map
  • Picking it up will give you a speed boost for a few seconds
  • Additionally, you will get 666 points
    • But there is a very rare chance to get a Spooky Key instead

Betting

• Reduced maximum bet to 10,000
• Reduced maximum normal multiplier to x1.8
• Lowered minimum bet back to 100
• Increased minimum special multiplier to x2.5
• All-in bets are now available at x1.4 and less

Tec-9

• Delay increased from 0.04 to 0.06
• Damage reduced from 12 to 8
• Ricochet damage and force doubled

Deagle

• Has been rebalanced to be the dedicated short/medium range headshot pistol
  • Still 1 headshot to kill innocents, 1 headshot plus 1 bodyshot to kill bodyarmoured D/Ts
• Damage reduced from 37 to 30
• Clip reduced from 8 to 6
• Total clip storage reduced from 4 to 2

Five-Seven

• Recoil reduced from 1.5 to 0.9
• Damage reduced from 25 to 20
• Delay reduced from 0.38 to 0.35
• No longer automatic
• Added 1.75x headshot multiplier

Glock

• Recoil increased from 0.9 to 1.5
• Damage increased from 12 to 15
• Delay reduced from 0.10 to 0.09
• Cone increased from 0.028 to 0.035
• Headshot multiplier reduced from 1.75x to 1.5x

Pocket Rifle

• Damage increased from 43 to 50

Round Win Rewards

• Traitor alive bonus increased from 10 to 100

Map Voting

• The label issue affected 9 of our 29 maps, and they had to be removed for now
  • The developer is investigating this problem
• Reduced amount of maps in voting screen
• Reduced cooldown before map can be played again

Server Ticker

• Changed font and colours
• Added new messages

Crates

• The Rebirth Crate has now been removed.
• Morgan Freeman and the Camera can now be sold
  • This straightforward bug was reported in August, and has been acknowledged. But it has yet to be fixed
  • Thank you to @Geit for coming up with a workaround for us
• Popstar Ahri and Korra are now unavailable
• Added 2 new Unusual items to the available pool
• The Spooky Crate has now been released!
  

Crash Screen

• When the server crashes, you will be brought to a new server crash page
  • You can stay on this screen for longer than the usual 40 seconds
• There is a decent live chat available
  • Use any Twitch emote - even if they are subscriber only
  • Retain your rank colours in this chat
  • Admins can begin a message with ! to make an announcement
• Includes instrumental music in the background
  • There is a volume slider that remembers your choice until you are murdered in a few years
  • No song will play twice
• Please note that the crash issue is not fixed. The only way I can get a (vague) error message is by checking the console seconds after the server crashed. It is important that someone contacts me if I'm not on the server.

The donation goal has now reset. Future content will include:

• Trading items with other players using an easy interface
• Adding and testing new maps to see if they have the Label issue
  • Or invest in a new map voting addon
• Create missing icons and improve graphical UI design
• Add several new unique traitor and detective weapons
• New permanent crate that will include:
  • Alternate melee weapons
  • Fun/wacky weapons
  • Weapon skins
  • Tons of catchy and headache-inducing taunts

 

PointShop 2:

• Added new boost item type
  • Their duration is only reduced while you are alive.
  • You can only equip one boost at a time.
  • Points: Double PS2 points from all sources.
  • Fall reduction: 50% reduction in fall damage.
  • Traitor chance: 15% additional chance to be chosen as a traitor.
  • Detective chance: 30% additional chance to be chosen as a detective.
  • Boost types NOT added: HP, HP regen, Armor and Movement speed.
• Traitor kills Detective reward increased.

Karma:

• Maximum karma: 2000 to 1400.
• Minimum karma: 500 to 800.
• Minimum karma to be detective: 1000
• Karma ban time: 96 hours to 12 hours.
• Karma gained per round: 10 to 15
• Clean round bonus (never attacked a teammate): 40 to 80
  • This bonus is halved if your karma is already 1200 or above.

Tab menu:

• Pretty self-explanatory, removes the need for complicated hotkeys.

Tags/Interface:

• Players can select their scoreboard tags by opening it via the new tab menu.
• Admins would have access to an admin tag and a donator tag if applicable for example.
• Managers, admins and Gold/Love VIPs also now have a chat tag and custom name colour.

Thank you @Dark for figuring out the PointShop 2 issue among other things. The developer of the addon wasn't even able to figure it out, so mad props.
