Only came on coz bennet said there was a pic of Disco ind i never saw it, and wanted to see what the old bean looked like.

Oh well.

I dont wear the GM tagg coz a spy sapped the fun out of GM and it never returned, the good times and the laughs will never b quite as epic as they once were @ 1am. (ahh the good old days.)

so not really for me anymore, but i do still play on GM occasionaly as there are still some of the original guys popping in.

Thread/Image was deleted when we moved to VBulliten.

Disco also requested that it be removed(Even though it was already gone) after he left.

Fact is GM = target practice (for Soli, Scout, Demo Aim.), No more fun gameplay.

What does GM have to offer?

A. a nice laggy server (which drops more than a whores draws.)
B. a good hostile enviroment.
C. a memory of when GM was once a good place.
D. a lot of flaming noobs. (Shadiku get ur head out ur arse mate, does't make u very endearing.)

Basicaly where this all went wrong is Leadership, Originaly it (GM) had good leaders.
Piss, TH, Spyko, Disco, Dark, Core.

Now IMO it has possibly Dark & Savage. (Cannot comment on Savage, seem'd ok to me.)

What prompted me to comment u might ask, well the attitude shown on this thread and the last few days on the GM server, the atmosphere sucked.

you must have a really sucky connection to lag also gtfo if you don't like it here why are you still here?

You're not helping with your attitude though. I think GM is nice to offer a server that works most of the time (even if the lag is there and some crashes/annoying people etc. it's still very nice of them to even keep it up for us for free..)

High expectation are high, also you kidding me with A, GM's dedi gives a better ping and overall better connection than my 2fort and the facepunch servers, hell it's even better than mytf2's main server.

Also D made me laugh.

Tbh most of the problems come with those that have become unhappy with the loss of so many of the "old" members and constantly come back to the forums to moan about it, thus creating more bad blood and arguments.

If people could stop complaining about how things "used" to be, and concentrated on the newer members we have, forming friendships there, the situation would get a whole lot better. I know I've met new people that over time could reach the same levels of fun as the ex-members. People like Disco were legendary, but they've been elevated to these god-like levels that I don't think they'd have necessarily wanted or agreed with.

Also, ping's relative - your connection changes, you can't hold Dark etc responsible for that. It's the internet, not a LAN. Stuff gets in the way
