Anyone interested in nutrition/working out here?

    Minimum of three sets on each exercise, up to 6 sets. Maximum 12 reps, minimum 6, sometimes 4 if it's really heavy.
    It's good to do it this way if you have a lot of spare time because we focus and hit each body part really hard, although sometimes we do chest AND biceps etc...

  2. Re: Anyone interested in nutrition/working out here?

    I cycle about 6miles to work on my BMX with a custom gearing of 40:9 which, if anyone has ridden bmx will know is intense! Hills are pretty much out of the question.

    I have a exercise frame in my room so do chin-ups and dips whenever I feel like it. (on about 23 chin-ups and 36 dips atm @12stone)

    I eat at least 8 sandwiches a day filled with all sorts of fatty and generally delicious fillings.

    I try and eat 2-3 big pizzas a week; sometimes a kebab or curry instead.

    My main sports are Rugby and Mountain biking and when possible, skiing.

    I like food and exercise, they can be friends if they want! :D :D :D

    i really have to ask fromage is that many/any supplicants necessary?
    Sounds a bit like overkill to me.

    It's definitly not. Im always open to try new stuff but that's over the top for sure. Just haven't finished them off yet thats why I still got so many left. :)

    Guess it's time for a little update on my situation.

    Right now I lost about 5 kilo and it's going steady down (after 2 weeks and 2 days.) My next goal is to lose about 5 more kilos in 4 weeks (beginning of may) then add a new milestone. Feeling better with good food only, no sugar or similar in the food (got rid of all the hidden sugar in bread, milk, etc etc..) + the candy and fast food.

    The only downside is that the gym workouts has gone down a bit, can't lift as much as before ( isn't that big of a difference but during a low-calory intake you usually don't get that much stronger, so I guess my goal is to maintain what I have right now..)

  8. Re: Anyone interested in nutrition/working out here?

    I eat shitloads, ranging from:

    3 weetabix cereals or porridge and bread, yoghurt and a banana for breakfast...

    four slices of bread sandwiches: ham/pickle/cheese/tuna/mayo/roast beef/etc one or two small pork pies, crisps, mars bar, orange, apple, more mars bars...

    hearty home-made dinners ranging from spaghetti bolognese to curry to roast beef...

    And of course protein shakes after the gym...

    Yeah... I have a fast metabolism and take a long time to put on substantial weight ;)
    Only weigh about 80kg at the moment... :|

    ah, uhmmmm Lasagna, one of my fav foods!

    I forgot to take a picture of my Sunday lunch today.
    it was:
    Cold turkey, roast potatoes, peas, carrots and cauliflower, served with chicken gravy.

    :mrgreen:

  13. Re: Anyone interested in nutrition/working out here?

    aah nice, had Lasagna yesterday :)

    well, I play tabletennis three times a week, two times training, one time match, then I play football now and then on weekends with friends, physical education once a week, and then I try to go jogging with a mate once per week, but it is very hard to find a time where we both have time.
    well, I do much sports, but more "fun sports". So not very hard ;) There is no need for me to go the Gym because I am already pretty strong without any training :P

    Well it's time to kick this thread alive again! Just have to say my diet is going awesomely well, lost approximately 20 kg in like.. 4 months now! (and that's just a food change, sit mostly at the PC all day long at work/home.) The secret is a low-carb high fat diet (under 20 grams of carbohydrates every day.) This will be long term though, won't bother putting in carbs in my diet again. :)

  15. nice cheese :)

    oh I had lasagne last night, eating some leftovers now :P

  16. imFree (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

    I love basketball , i used to spend about 4 h min. outside my house just thorwing hoops and beating my dad and brother, but now.. i have no hoop to play on Q_Q
    So, im stuck inside nagging here on the forums .. <.<'

    Also: the school i go to has its own gym, 2 to be percise, 1 for fitness and one for ball sports.. so that's pretty kewl aswell. (:

  17. End of hockey season now, so my fitness is going to drop like a stone until summer league starts end of May :/ Gym membership near me is reasonably expensive too unfortunately, plus the nearest one is a 15 minute train ride away+30 minute walk.

    @FastJohn
    Thanks man! I've gone from 120 kg now to steady 99.3 this morning (2 meter tall so..) but my aim is somewhere around 90 for now, or even less to get abs hopefully! :) Was the lasagne any good?
    @Imfree
    Just keep going outside and do something workout-ish instead of the computing, it'll do you good! :D
    @Rocket
    What does a membership for a gym cost in your area?

    Erik

  19. You lazy guy lol, a month and a half, ONE full stone? you gonna be eating cows?!?!?

  20. It's about £45 a month for a basic membership, which gets you off-peak access to the gym - but only if you're related to a member of staff at the university it's attached to (which I am luckily). Otherwise it's £65 a month. It wouldn't be so bad apart from the fact I'm currently between jobs, and hence temporarily poor :/
