Battlefield 2: Project Reality (now with Vietnam)

PR mod for BF:2 has been out for ages and hasn't been updated for a couple of years, still rly good gameplay. I used to play it loads.

Basically it's a mod for Battlefield 2 which tries to make the game as close to real life as possible (without like IRL death)

They've been making a Vietnam era mini-mod for it, think it's still in beta. Looks good though (the official BFietnam was awesome)

Just wondering if anyone wants to give it a go? (The game is considerably better with a group of friends other than randums)

What you need to play:

A working copy of 'Battlefield 2'

The full mod client (currently 0.97), map pack, and Vietnam addon. from http://www.realitymod.com

I'm unsure if w4r3z versions of BF:2 will work.

 

mmm we have arma2 for mil sim like gameplay

 

pfft or you could play on an engine that works.

But regardless, PR was even more hardcore than ARMA iirc, still a different gaming experience.

 

BF2 (Steam) doesn't work on Vista 64 bit. Anybody know a fix for this?

I've been meaning to get back to BF2 after playing BF3 for quite some time.

 

litrally just downloading bf3 :p

Just re-installed BF2 earlier today. I'll def. look into this.
