Re: Battlefield Fortress =) Its definetly not a RF2-rip-off, its a casual-gamers version of Battlefield with comic-graphics, and at least, its for free (if you like the Vanilla style soldiers and dont wanna spend money for additional clothes)
Re: Battlefield Fortress =) Look at this from my perspective: - Clasess. - You have a gunner (Heavy?) - You have a soldier (Scout + Sniper + Soldier?) I don't care about cartoon rendering, really. ;x Dice have copied mmo'ish system from many already existing games, free games as well.
Re: Battlefield Fortress =) Is that a bad thing? Is not like every other studio make brand new concepts. Things are getting copied all the time even though you might not see it. BF1942 had gunners and soldiers even before TF, did they steal it from there? Erik
Re: Battlefield Fortress =) + I may be wrong, but i think BF1942 was the first Mulitplayer-Shooter with really different types of classes and different types of vehicles.
Re: Battlefield Fortress =) It's not about "winning" really. I mean we still copy from the people back in the 1600s or even earlier than that for certain things and no one questions it. If you wanna blame someone for stealing that would be that korean TF2 clone. Erik
