(I prefer Modern Warfare 2 btw, REAL CoD is WWII imo)

Well first of all, PC gamers have had the privilege of playing games in so called HD for years, any monitor supporting a resolution of 1280x720 (720p) or above is high def so to speak.
Also them screens are not entirely fair Oba, my PS3 GTA IV looks fucking fantastic on my Kuro, much better than on that website, tbh it looks like the PC image rather than the mouseover one.
All my PS3 and Xbox 360 games look amazing on my TV, its just like playing them on a monitor, you do have to have a decent tv, with a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 or above. That said any game that appears on both consoles and PC, the PC version will always be superiour graphically and performance wise.

In normal case, you have not even HD Ready resolution (720p) because the consoles just arent powerful enough .... Halo3 for example, where the XBOX renders on a lower resolution and is scaling the picture up to 720p ..... + in the mayority of games you miss AntiAliasing and/or AF + lower texture resolutions ....... if you compare, you can see the difference. Contrast cant balance a lower resolution, you still see differences :/

I was pretty much shocked btw last week as my Motherboard+PSU died and i had to play with an old crap PC + on a lower resolution on another screen (7800 GTX in my "emergency"/Surf-PC wasnt strong enough for 1920x1200 ), it was really a shock to be back @ 1280x1024 .... it really IS a huge difference, a friend of me that only playes console was really impressed by CoD4 on PC.

Yeah your right Oba, Halo 3 is 640p and therefore is upscaled. All I was saying, was that them images from that site, aren't really fair to either the Xbox 360 or the PS3,
as their games will look better or worse depending on your TV, if you have a Panasonic Viera or Pioneer KURO (the best in its class) the games will look great. But games will always be better graphically on PC.

Looking at this problem from game developer's eye:
PCs are most flexible and reliable machines for game development EVER.
When you're creating something for console, you're very limited.
For example, small ammount of memory (also small ammount of video memory) etc.
I know how it works because i've been developing stuff for PS2.

You may also add that developing for PC requires lots of different hardware to test on, lots of specs, different OS'es, drivers and other problems so I wouldn't say easier... when you're stuck to one hardware setup its much easier than 1000 different.

I'm pretty sure games for consoles is a lot more optimized than the ones for PCs.

Edit. To be honest I don't ever see the point in those PC fanboy flame wars against consoles. Of course a PC will have more power, make it look better whatsoever but if you compare a computer with similar stats to a 4-5 year old console you won't get the same result. Consoles is great for people who just want to play the game they bought without thinking of optimization, viruses, driver problems, crashes due to HW setup/drivers and whatever.

Flame wars = fail.

One more thing to remember is when warezing goes up, pc releases goes down. I'm sure you'll see lots of more console exclusive content since the PC is a big free store on the net. Of course you can chip a console but it's not as many as the PC users (just accidentally saw your warez talk on the previous page..)

I am using CS3 and I am pro according to 99% of the people who see my works. CS2 it´s not photoshops fault you have no skills with it
