    If you were forced to live with one of the above ailments, which would you choose?



    I'd choose being Mute, as there are many ways to communicate in the modern world without speaking.

    Yep, mute. Because mute only affects yourself, while blind and dead affect the outside world. Yeah, that isn't really right, but I hope you get the point.

    I think everyone would choose "mute" -- because even if you can speak, if you can't hear other people (deaf) then to me it's a moot point - I know you'd be able to pick up on people's lip movement - but then what about when they're facing away from you or you're in a group of people?... I'd rather be able to hear them and see them (as well as still enjoy music, play games, see beautiful scenery) than not be able to speak. I'll just get a robot voice. It'll be grand!

    I don't talk all that often anyway, so losing the ability to speak that I already rarely put to good use is fine in my opinion.
