Dedicated server down

    Dedicated server down

    The dedicated server crashed when rebooting to install some windows updates. The server needs to be physically rebooted where it is located and only our host can do this.

    I've informed the server guys and they are working to get the server back online soon.

    Apologies for any inconvenience.

    yeah core said he can't log in the RDP at all. :(

    hopefully it will get back online soon.

    hehe, this reminds me of a few projects I was on.
    The hosting service charged like 50 bucks for rebooting a server manually, meaning they send someone down to reboot a server right away.
    Of course you could inform them that the server went down, it didn't cost anything but it took up to a few hours. :roll:

    8PM what timezone?
    nothing so bad it wouldn't be good, time to go take some photos. the new MMORPG, OUTSIDE!

    <Kash> There were startup messages saying some services failed to start
    <Kash> RDP was a bit messed up, I had to start that manually then give it a reboot

    Anyway the server is working now, I'm currently logged into it via RDP.

    Also, the price of the server has been dropped to £95 from £100 a month (waebi is making a GM clan video and I told them that tigit.co.uk could have credits in the video)
