    I can even say one game, hl2:dm is multiplayer, but to play mods you need Source SDK which ofc. they don't give out for free...

    No, but if you have the Orange Box then you have SDK already. :)

    Half Life 2 is in the Orange-box. And in Half life 2 is the SDK ;)

    For most people the only benifit to this free offer will be HL2DM, unless they only own TF2.

    Ffs... ofc if you own any steam game and you will accept this promo there be no limits, but if you DON'T have ANY steam game, this is be limited for you (no source sdk for free, unless you buy any source game with your money).

    Sorry Tommy, but it's not true. Year ago i've found something like this thread on Polish board, i accepted promo and everything worked fine (no i haven't owned any steam game, even HL2 or TF2).

    Source SDK Base can be found on the Tools tab of the Steam client. You must install Source SDK Base before you can run a mod based on it. Note that it will only appear here if you have purchased a Source game such as Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Counter-Strike: Source, etc.
    But yeah, that's true. When you are getting HL2DM for free you don't own Source SDK Base.
    Hopefuly, i'm owner of The Orange Box.
