On Thursday, I had an accident at work. I was running some network cables through the ceiling, and somehow the ladder I was on got bumped and I fell about 7 feet (2.1336 meters for you Metric folks) onto some rather unforgiving concrete chest, palms, and face first. I was knocked unconscious for a spell, and had a bit of memory problems during the phase. I'm told I asked what the time was about 15 separate times. I was taken to the hospital, where I received a CAT Scan and X-Rays on various parts of my injured anatomy. After a few hours, I was sent home and told to take it easy for the rest of the weekend. Save for some seriously sore hands and arms (I apparently tried to catch myself and landed hard on them) I'm fine. So I may not be around as much as usual these next few days, as I recuperate at home. And there you have it.
The title gave me high expectations about the thread content :< - - - Here's hoping for a speedy recovery though, good sir.
Thank you all for the support. I'm feeling better today. I still get dizzy, but that to be expected when your brain shifts to the right and starts to turn purple. It will get better with time.
This should keep you busy while you're not at work: http://www.fakkelbrigade.eu/forsaken/Stripedy/uncrateomatic.swf
Back from the Doctors. I received my clearance to return to work, 2 Ubercharges, 1 Kritz, and 3 Quick-Fix Charges. I was still unable to take out the Sentry in the waiting room. Fucking turtling Engineers.
