iPad I want one D: http://www.apple.com/ipad/ I watched the entire event. I was hoping for some sort of an announcement with OS 4.0 or some flash support, but sadly none. Boo.... This thing looks sexy has heck and looks like it'll be insanely fun to play with. Since it's running a somewhat modified version of the touch/phone OS, I can't wait to see what the hackers out there do for it. Cydia for the iPad? Yes please.
Don't see why you'd want a camera on a tablet PC But yeah, no multi-tasking is a big turn off for me. And no proper SDK for Windows.
It's a pointless gimmick made by apple again and all the cool kids will have this urge to buy it. Sorry shinkz but it is a pointless gimmick. Plus it's name sounds like someone said iPod wrong.
If it hits for around £350 or so in the UK I'll pick one up just for shits and giggles. If it comes over with a direct $500=£500 then fuck that. I want one for it's design alone. If somebody manages to install bootcamp/vm on it, then it'll probably be an insta-buy. I'm waiting to see what Asus is coming up with with it's tablet in the works.
Apple = pathetic failure touch screen = smudge marks on the screen = fail i'd rather just upgrade my computer
iPhail... It has a ARM quadcore (not even at full speed, because of heat issues), but pretty useless, if it cannot even browse/view flash websites (I guess, that ~50% of the popular websites out there, use flash in 1 way or another.) But too many people will buy this 10" ipod touch. Also: HP seems to work on a tablet pc for 5 years... but nothing launched. And also Asus, Acer, etc are working on something similar. Let the pricewar begin!

It's come a long way from an e-reader. I saw the HP the other day on engadget. MSI also has a nice looking one coming but I'm waiting mostly for Acer and Asus to show off what they can do before really diving in to anything. http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/06/the-hp-slate/
