Is the xenforo Resource Manager worth getting?

It's basically a file downloads and articles repository system

Can anyone think of any uses to make it worth buying for here? (currently on sale with a significant discount but still struggling to justify given the forced +$15 to the $40/year renewal)

 

It's a nice idea, but I don't think it'd be utilized enough to warrant purchasing. Even the events thing has so far failed, with one event scheduled and literally not one person even bothered to show up for it.
