It looks that my windows 7 doesn' like TF2

    It looks that my windows 7 doesn' like TF2

    Recently installed windows 7 (RTM 7600) and then appeared some problems with tf2. About every 30-60 seconds the game lags or freezes for 1 second and it continues non-stop. There were no problems when i had XP and Vista. My hardware is fine so as the internet connection and i installed all the necessary drivers . Actually this thing happens only when i play on-line, when i create my server the performance is fine. Maybe anybody had the same problems?

    Sounds like network issues. Talk to Geit he's a geek with this stuff, helped me many a time <3

    Also TRY AND SNIPE NOW YOU FILTHY PIMP

    I'm on the RC 7100 of 7 and it works with TF2 just fine :x

    I used to have this too, I can't remember what was causing it though :/

    The config does me fine though when I am on other OS'es. (Mainly Linux and the like.)

    download game booster, it will disable the unnecessary service for you too.

    also i tried windows 7 with tf2 a while back, works fine for me.

    no, the OS is pure and everything is updated)


    the system is rather good, all i need is to fix this little problem so i could keep pwning u and see u ragequiting over and over again xD

    There's your problem - stuff like search indexing in particular will have some effect on performance, especially on a new installation.

    Read a guide on what services to disable.
