    How come I havn't been able to preload this, or even heard of the demo coming out?

    I'm pretty sure it was pre-ordered...

    Ill buy this cash-cow game by Valve only if they lower the price down to the level what "Addons" cost in normal case. I wont pay full price for some features they could give us with patches for L4D1.

    You're forgetting this is a pretty much completely fresh library of assets, and maps/models/textures/sounds are all Valve really need to make a game.

    You can code a modification for an engine in a matter of weeks or even days, the hardest part, like dark said, is assests, and L4D2 has an absolutely huge asset library in the demo alone. (It weighs in at 2.8GB - and it's only 2 maps!)

    Need to save up, to buy L4D2, MW2 (Atleast for Single Play) and Operation Flashpoint 2.
