Minecraft #3 - Tekkit - Server Info

With the removal of the whitelist from the tekkit server, the map has, once again, been reset.

In order to play tekkit, you must first download the technic launcher from http://www.technicpack.net/. From there, run the launcher, select tekkit from the drop down menu on the left and then log in with your minecraft details.

The tekkit server is running the current build of 3.1.2.

New plugins:
QuickBench: A server side replacement for the crafting table III with similar capabilities. Can be crafted by crafting together a normal crafting bench and a book. Looks like a normal crafting table in your inventory, when placed in the world, looks like an automatic crafting table.

For a list of commands, use /help in-game.

You're welcome to check banned-ips.txt in /tekkit

 

There are no banned ips, though a fairly large ban list, which is a combination of bans on vanilla and the previous tekkit. If you were banned on either at some point (I included the bans on vanilla before the glizer plugin was installed too). Your name might be in that list (don't actually know your minecraft username).

The server log does not show 81.19.212.48 as having tried to connect at any point.

 

I've seen you trying to log in a few times, just showing you as losing connection.

There's no IP block anywhere on my server, so... I'm a loss and I'm blaming your halls connection. It's something your end or your VPN not doing something properly. I can't fault anything Minecraft end.

Yeah, but don't ask me how. It just was fixed some day. Rarely (once a month or so, maybe even less) the error kicks in again, but removing the tekkit folder generally fixes it. I still have no idea why it happens.

 

I've looked, found nothing, my work here is done.

 

Thread sticked, why did no-one notice/do this

 

DM Pedestal has had it's restrictions increased for the default and community groups, you can craft them and have them in your inventory, but nothing else.
Harvest Goddess Band and Ring of Arcana have been blocked for the default and community groups.

 

That means no unlimited flying though. Can't you just disable all the harvest ring's functions (I think that's your reason for blocking it)?

 

Not without dropping it out of a player's inv/destroying the item as soon as it's switched to nature mode. By the time you get the ring of arcana, you should have plenty of EMC, so you may as well be considered to have unlimited flying with the swiftwolf's rending gale ring too. Regardless, it's been done mostly to protect the server.

 

Tekkit restrict has been added to the server, though, the EMC for items hasn't been added for now, due to stupid plugin author not differentiating between "id:0" and just "id", thus if 214:0 (world anchor) is given an emc value, 214:1, 214:2, 214:3 etc. will also be given that value unless they are specifically given one. And setting the emc to 0 doesn't seem to be working either.

Also, might be my internet, but does seem a bit laggy since installing. Will mess with the performance settings if other people are finding it laggy.

Edit: RM furnace and infernal armour now available for all.
(will need someone else to craft the infernal armour, since volcanite amulet is disabled by default)
