There has been a million movies where they kill innocent people, what justify that? Why doesn't people rant about that too then?

Well the difference is that war and killing is accepted in games/movies while raping children is not. There are porn games out there that I'm sure you can rape in but not children. If you feel so sad over this make an petition to get rid of violent games or introduce children rape games.

No, I agree with you. I will be skipping that level as I see no need to murder, digital or otherwise, civilians. Each to his own, but it wont add to the game for me, I'm happy to skip it.

The best idea would probably be if that mission was an introduction video instead, to make people build up a hate against that person and feel something for the rest of the game, I totally agree that making gameplay out of it isn't the best idea.

Hey, its just a game, why so serious now ?!


I have great ideas for violent video games !!!! So why is killing civilans OK and other stuff not ?!

For some people, glueing little babys on big guard dogs backs and let them run through a mine field might be fun, its called "Minesweeper Extreme", and the Addon, "Necro-Lovers Extreme" will allow you to have sex with the blown up, roasted rests of both the dog and the baby - its just a game, so why beeing shocked now ?




I just say, there is a line somewhere, and Shitility Wart just broke through that line, this is nothing but having fun at other peoples pain, even if they are just pixels.

Ye, or at least seeing the undercover agent starting vomiting behind the next corner, because he is beein forced to do that to not harm his cover ....... this is just bloody bloddy crap.

Civilians has been killed in games/movies for ages, but how many of the things you mentioned above has been shown? In GTA you can take a car and run over civilians, its a choice you make, in the same way you decide if you want to do this mission or not. The examples you make up is too extreme and not accepted in the society (anything with children violence involved..) cause how many games have you seen where you kill children, make love to them or make love to corpses that you killed?

I like it. It just a game guys. most of you that say 'I wont buy it' or 'hate it': you wil play it / download it illegal, trust me u will.

I wont be buying it(cos of the no dedicated servers) even tho I've been playing all the cod games at friends xD.
Already got 2 friends who bought mw2 on ps3 and one on steam, so I'll pop over there and play

It's your opinion of course Oba, and you're entitled to it, but your examples are a bit extreme, as Kase pointed out.
Think of older popular games like Hitman. You're a hired assassin who often stalks and kills unarmed civilians just because they are in the way. In a game like that, it's fun. I don't think the line between video games and real life is particularly fine, unless the person playing suffers from mental illness in the first place. It's not going to cause any rampages in normal people, and normal people certainly wouldn't act like that in real life. Unless they're in the special services or similar...

To be honest, the mission is part of the storyline.
Also people have been forced to do stuff like this in the past sadly.
