    It sounds like someone might of got into the backend or the servers missing some shit.

    Might wanna contact the hoster if someone has got into the rear.

    The function_search.php file is there from a weird bug which renamed it at some point :/

    Also is it possible in the Windows 2003 version of NTFS for files to revert to previous versions? Because a lot of CSS properties went missing from darkcss.css at the same time as functions_search disappearing :/

    I've never heard of something like that happening, not even my dad has heard of something like that happening and he works with 2003 every day at the NHS.
