Randomizing Props

  1. Randomizing Props

I'm hard at work on my latest prophunt attempt ph_Storage, and I'm just about to the point where I'll need to start placing actual props on the map. One of the things I'd really like to do is be able to randomize at least a portion of the props, in order to allow for as much variation and replay value as possible. Unfortunately I've no idea how to go about doing that. Any help there?

And just because I can, I'll add pics:

Note those are in-progress shots; the lighting's improved and there's a bit more color to the place as opposed to what you see in the first one, the second's... well, more or less accurate, until I get some custom props made (there's not a lot of office supply props, you see), and the third one I added a ramp. That's also the BLU spawn that caused me to ask about triggering rotating doors...

  3. Looks very nice :)

I'm sure Geit will explain the "dicemod" thing that lets you randomise props, or you could just decompile warehouse and steal it :P
