Tentatively blaming the TF2 replay system for that downtime due to filesystem corruption (guessing we triggered a rare bug in ext4, as there's no sign of hardware issues) I've changed a couple of things so that it shouldn't happen again Also took the opportunity to update the SSD firmware and get the r8168 network module working again
I have a feeling the DarkiSock thingy here on this site is down. In game it still works, but what I - and others - said via DarkiSock didn't appear on this site, and writing something (with a ~ in front of the message) via DarkiSock on this site doesn't seem to work (the message isn't copied; it isn't seen in game).
Minecraft servers will be going down for a while tonight... whilst I do some clearing up. This will mainly be putting on an auto-restart plugin/script. I'm finding if I leave the MC servers running for days, their CPU usage goes through the roof and then my load averages go into double figures (for you non-tech folk, that's bad).

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/LInux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
