    Server Status

    As you've probably noticed, we now have an awesome sidebar widget showing various stats from the dedi over the past ~5 minutes. :D


    Coming soon there will be another widget listing the gameservers as reported by Sourcebans, along with player counts, links to join etc. :)



    Also, for anyone interested in the technical details:

    A simple PHP daemon runs 24/7 grabbing useful stats via WMI and firing it into Memcache every 5 seconds or so. This then gets grabbed by another PHP script in the sidebar widget which processes the data and displays some nice Sparklines graphs :)

    have a 'on RDP' status to show when someone is connected to RDP. :roll:

    Will do :P

    Sparklines actually renders to a <canvas>, but most browsers let you save canvases via base64 :P

    Added the RDP thing based on the output of the "qwinsta" command (counts the occurrences of "Active") :)

    Nice widget, but it's hard to see how much cpu usage there actually is.

    Btw: do you know now why the server is keep crashin after a few hours ?! Is it just because of too many player or so ?! What kind of server is it btw ? 4 Gigs of RAM is what i know now because of your nice widget, but whats with the CPU ? ^^

    Fuck yeah, finished the servers sidebar thing :D

    Also I removed the right column on the home page along with a couple of pointless things - looks much cleaner now :)

    Sure, connect up to Memcache (localhost, port 11211) and read gm_status (big array of shit), gm_lastupdate (time since last update), gm_from (time of oldest update), gm_qwinsta (plain output of qwinsta) and gm_servers (another big array) ;)

    Fancy, shame it can't be used to show the status of the 2fort server as it's not on the same box.
