the most important thing is to know what map we are going to play.i know proven clan war strats for all the default maps. like starting tactics, engi bvuild positions etc. from playing around 20 t2 clan wars in a league pub is a completly dif game to private.its now uncommon to see 4 ubers at once with say 1 heavy demo ans 2 pyros etc or some teams send staggered ubers so one after another after another

like i said though its all down to the map once i know what it is ill discuss further

When attacking...

Soldiers/pyros/scouts at the front
Heavy/demomen/medics behind as support
Spies come in just in time to sap engi objects if there are sentries.

Medics also please try to "buff up" everyone's health.

Basically just keep together like a brick wall

Judging from the PCW we had against Clones Inc, we need the medic to heal all his team mates, not just one heavy. Once you've buffed up the heavy to 450hp you can buff up the other players too. Otherwise we're all just going to die and get owned. The medic is very important. :!:


Also, we all need to use vent. Even if you can't talk on the mic, at least you can hear your other team mates.

Agreed on the medic (and the comms). The hardest thing for a medic is to know when someone is ready to go, knows what to take out, and knows when to get out - don't forget the medic is very exposed when uber is done

Give it a try, I can host it(or someone else) and you all can join ;-)
First, you need to install the TF2 Packs from TOOLS>Map Vault, I'm sure you can do this ;-)
Then you select on the right side "Packs" and "TF2 Deluxe Pack", and choose a map.
Like my pic, you can see the map from above now.
edit: one thing got in my mind: there "is" no engie in the list. But we *need* at least one with tele and dispenser, or we are dead

ye i'm sorry that it's so late, heard of it and thought "ye nice, but i have no clan and i dont need tactics" ;-)
but i think it's a good idea, even if it's for future matches.
