Tf2 Item Price check

    I had a quick look and a quick search but I noticed we didn't have a thread about the prices of items in tf2 and I know we can just google it but different websites I look at have the prices for items for different things anyway I just thought having a thread would be easier just in case the people you would ask are offline

    I may of rambled so here is a conclusion

    I disagree with God's Method of spreadsheets.

    In my opinion the best way of finding prices is to search the item (on tf2outpost or another). You want to search how many people are selling it for, and how much people are buying it for. Next decided if that's a price you think is reasonable, if so... that's your price.

    But everyone else is just using the spreadsheet values, you're making yourself do tons more work for the same result in the vast majority of instances. If it's a big purchase like an Unusual - yeah, do the leg work. But for small purchases like hats, the price difference will be insignificant and it's not worth spending the extra time on it.

    Definitely (to Cactus).

    Alas, way too many people solely rely on Spreadsheet in all, which is reflected by trade sites, which has basically ruined trading.

    In before someone pointing out trading was ruined from the get-go. :P
