Well, its extremly depending on each specific dub, some of them really really suck, and some others are even better than the original US ones imo.

Dr. House/House M.D. for example, the german dub voice of Hugh Laurie is AWESOME, because it reminds me of some random alcoholic dude, perfectly fits for the drug junkie House

Of course, there are many other counter-examples to prove that german dubs can be really sucky (in special case if it comes to Anime dubs >_< What they did to Naruto is nothing but a rape for your ears!! Two of the few good dubs are One Piece and DragonBall/Z)

I really don't want to flame or anything (and I'm dutch, so Im not too familiar with german-german accents as you), but it does sounds super lame/silly to me. Plus, audio and vid are really out of sync.
(if i'd quickly listen to it, it could even be a very bad intro to a even worse german pron movie)

Anyways, I'll stick to english (luckily, they only dub childrens movies here in NL)

First a wall: Yep, that Youpoop vid is really a bit out of sync.


But trust me: For the character of "House" that voice is almost the best fiting one that i can imagine in german, i know the original dub voice, and in english it really fits, but in german that original english sound of the voice wouldnt fit, the voice actor that's been used for the german dub is better fiting for the german market/language.



And about that "they only dub child series": Its not a good thing imo, it more tells us, that dubing it in dutch isnt worth the effort/money because the market is so small/many of you guys can speak english, so they can save some money (except for not english-speaking childs of course).
