    The GM Quad Core Dedicated Server #2

    This second server will be sponsored by tigit.co.uk

    In return we have to brand our servers and promote their company.

    We've been asked to host CSS and COD4 servers for now on this dedicated server.

    :? I understand about CSS, but how can you not like CoD4? :o


    Anyway, Tigit said that the new server should be up and running tomorrow. :D And I have some well-honed CoD4 config files from a server I hosted ages ago, so that should save us some time :D

    How many people in the clan actually has COD4? 3, 4?
    CSS could be nice, but not CoD4.

    as long as it's not a quake 3 server i won't join it anyway, so doesn't really matter to me. But CoD4 looks quite nice (i've seen it at a friend) but won't run on my machine properly.

    If we run CSS as well, do we have to add CSS members to the clan? ATM we are just TF2 members.

    Atleast 2 CSS and 1 or 2 CoD4 servers would be good. Then you can host more TF2 servers if you want or decide from there what to host which would be better :D

    INDEED :D

    i will think of some new layouts then :D

    and good maps ofc. CSS servers can be hard to fill, you need some good maps and stuff.

    ye Dust2 *is* popular, but there are far better maps. I still have a fuckload of good maps on my PC, i will post you some good ones:

    If we have 2 CSS servers we could have one server with 30 players and one with 16-20 players. Then people could have a choice if they want. :3

    CoD4 servers coming once the dedi finally finishes downloading the server files from a torrent. (my RS ran out :()

    ETA: 5 hours...ish :P


    I'll start with 4 servers and see what happens. At least one will be cracked with a no waiting patch (whatever that is :P)

    Oh and I'm adding the new servers to the shared functions file on the site, so they will appear in the side menu of the site and also will work in the mass rcon script in the admin panel.
