    After about two months of sitting in the closet, my dad's Surface tablet which we thought had a dead battery suddenly started charging again after he spontaneously decided to try and use my (new) charger.

    Apparantly, all it needed was a natural discharge to fix it.

    The old charger's working too now.

    Had my interview at Jagex, went incredibly well, apparently I'm in the final 5 after several thousand applicants, will hear in a week if I got it!

    Also holy shit the place is incredible. Literally gamer heaven. They even have a filming studio that wouldn't look out of place in LCS, just amazing facilities overall, looks just like the photos of places like Valve

    Me, my sister and my brother spent yesterday together (mother's day). We each got a purple (mum's favourite colour) helium balloon and wrote a message to her. We went to Temple Newsam (somewhere we always went when we were younger with her), tied a purple flower to each balloon, tied the balloons together and then let them go. It was nice.

    The tank wasn't there sadly :(

    And not really, they asked if I'd played and I truthfully told them "just a bit", didn't seem like a big issue

    I couldn't believe how laid back everyone was, it's exactly how I picture Valve to be. Even the interview was just a chat and a technical test
