Trouble in Terrorist Town

Have been waiting for all GM related changes to be voted on and fulfilled before touching it too bad, as it's likely to shake the server up a fair bit.

 

TTT is now back up, there are a couple of changes

• Added 'Radio Jammer' traitor weapon and related Detective immunity item
• Added 'Foot Vision' item and related immunity 'Sheep Wool Shoes' item for Traitors + Detectives
• Donator Hats tab is now Clan Member hats for now
• Player models tab is hidden for now

Will look into other servers and stuff over the next couple of days. Admin applications will be opening soon too.

The server is now gravy following the steampipe update, and is extremely popular due to being one of the few fully working servers

 

• Updated PointShop, fixing certain intermittent issues
• Moved much of our content to the Steam Workshop - this will vastly increase download speeds on maps such as ttt_nuclearpower
  • Be aware that the workshop download bar in GMod is derpy
• Added ttt_waterworld
• Added ttt_ratistry
• Added ttt_onesmallshamble
• Added ttt_woodedwidow

  • 'Clan Member Hats' is now 'Donator Hats' yet again
    • You may keep all old purchases
  • 'Player models' tab is back and improved
    • Added Obama, Navy Seal (Jimmy R.) and Teto Kasane in addition to previous models
• Added weapon skins tab for all users
  • Currently includes MC Diamond sword, Axe, Shovel, Keyboard and Sledgehammer
  • They all do the same damage right now, but unique stats are planned
• If you have trouble seeing icons in the traitor menu, merge the garrysmod folder in this rar to your folder located at Steam/steamapps/%username%/garrysmod/ (screenshot)

  • The map icons aren't the greatest, but they were the best I could do in 2½ hours. At least we have one for every map!

• Added a GUI weapon selection menu, access it by pressing F5 in-game
  • All users can select 1 clip secondary weapons
  • $5 and above donators can select 1 clip primary weapons
  • $10 and above donators get full clips on all chosen weapons
  • $15 donators can select grenades too (planning on adding coloured smoke grenades at a later date)
• Added hitmarkers when you successfully damage a player, in addition to the current hit numbers
• Added a coloured damagelog available post-round or for dead players
  • Bind a key to print_ttt_damagelog to access it
  • This is an essential admin tool and should be used for double checking RDM etc
• Updated ULX adverts, advertising our open admin applications and new features
  • The adverts now follow a loose colour scheme to be more appealing to the eye

• Added new multi-tab MOTD! Click here for a screenshot. Automatically displays upon entering, you can open it again with !motd in chat.
• Added death freezecam (exactly like TF2)
• Re-added a notification in chat at the same time, that will tell you who killed you and what role they were
• Removed ttt_mc_SkyIslands due to lag concerns + spiderweb glitch
• Removed ttt_ratistry (it's shit)
• Fixed MC sword downloading every map

• Added Trigger-Finger Chip traitor weapon!
• Melee weapons now have unique attributes!
  • Axe - 30 damage, higher delay
  • Bat - 30 damage, cannot push players
  • Diamond sword - 30 damage, victims scream on death (not silent)
  • Keyboard - Lower delay, 15 damage
  • Shovel - 35 damage, view shakes when used
  • Sledgehammer - 40 damage, very high delay
• Fixed crowbar not being stripped on TTT round start when melee weapon had been purchased
• Fixed PointShop melee wepaons dropping on death and via Q
• Adjusted TTT/Detective purchase
  • Only 1 of each can now be used per round, with it automatically queueing up if yours didn't get used
  • Traitor price increased to 600
  • Detective price increased to 400
• Added 'Giant Babby' player model - it's meant to be used on its own, definitely don't guarantee compatability with other PointShop items..
• MP5 removed for now - I feel that especially with the weapon selection menu, it makes the Mac 10 and Detective UMP dwindle in comparison to it. It's difficult to uniquely balance the MP5 with the current selection of weapons, so I believe removing it is the best course of action for now

It still does more damage than the crowbar. Regardless, I've buffed it to 30 damage.
