Just a list of the hackers that we've detected on the server, and what they tried to do before they got banned.

20/08/12:

• dEnzo (10:10) - Tried to spawn a helicopter, automatically kicked, banned upon log review. Submitted for global ban under report #115, and backed up by report #111 from another server. Update: Globally banned.
• DesTRo (14:09) - Tried to spawn a helicopter, automatically kicked, banned upon log review. Submitted for global ban under report #116. Update: Globally banned.
• ~-=_Ganjubas_=-~ (15:38) - Tried to spawn a helicopter, got automatically kicked and banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #118. Update: Globally banned.
• (Russian guy #1) (15:38) - Tried to ThunderDome the server, got automatically kicked, rejoined and tried to spawn a Weapons box, kicked again and rejoined again. Banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #117. Update: Globally banned.
• [CRP] Heeckz (17:57) - Tried to spawn an ATV Quadbike, automatically kicked and banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #121. Update: Globally banned.
• Jerrycan (22:48) - Tried to make himself invisible, automatically kicked and banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #148. Update: Globally banned.

21/08/12:

• Talass (00:14) - Tried to ThunderDome the server, automatically kicked and banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #150. Update: Globally banned.
• Enkk (00:58) - Upon log review, it was found that this player managed to place 183 satchel charges in 8 minutes, all of them on buildings of no consequence to gameplay. Also, according to even further review, they managed to travel from West Elektro to East Cherno in 25 seconds. Submitted for further review and global ban under report #154. Update: Globally banned.
• (Russian Guy #2) (01:08) - Upon log review, was found to have placed 36 satchel charges in 38 seconds around 400m away from Enkk. Submitted for further review and global ban, along with Enkk, under report #154. Update: Globally banned.
• Cam (01:59) - Attempted to spawn an ammo box, automatically kicked and banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #155. Update: Globally banned.
• Admin (02:18) - Attempted to spawn an ammo box, automatically kicked and banned upon review. Submitted for global ban under report #156. Update: Globally banned.
• Carn4ge/Anonymouz/Flake (03:09 ~ 03:45) - Attempted to thunderdome the server and was automatically kicked, rejoined with a new name and tried to spawn an ammo box and was automatically kicked, rejoined again with another new name and was kicked for trying to spawn an ammo box. Banned upon log review and submitted for global ban under report #157. Update: Globally banned.

22/08/12:

• the longest dogg (19:16) - This guy was about the other day and tried to make everyone on the server dance, which I ignored because he got kicked for it, and it's fairly harmless. He was back today though and decided to try and make himself invisible, kicked automatically and banned upon review. Seconded the motion for a global ban in report #50. Update: Globally banned.
• George (20:55) - Tried to make himself invisible, automatically kicked. Banned upon log review and submitted for global ban under report #229. Update: Globally banned.

23/08/12:

• No hackers detected. (There was a undetected public BattlEye bypasser released, it's likely a lot of hackers used it, it was added to the detection within 24 hours)

24/08/12:

• ars133 (01:25) - Tried to spawn an ammobox, automatically kicked and banned on review. Submitted for global ban under report #249. Update: Globally banned.
• SimplePRO (19:07) - Tried to create an ATV, automatically kicked and banned on review. Seconded the motion for a global ban under report #268. Update: Globally banned.
• Lewis (2) (21:46) - Spawned an impossible amount of explosives (158 in an hour). Banned on log review. Submitted for global ban under report #275. Update: Globally banned.
• [TBW]Alpha (20:35) - Tried to make himself invisible, got automatically kicked, rejoined then used 45 40MM Grenades in 40 minutes. Banned upon log review and submitted for global ban under report #276. Update: Globally banned.
• Shark (20:21) - Tried to do IDunnoWhat and then tried to blow up another player's vehicle, automatically kicked. Banned on log review and submitted for global ban under report #279.
• Movie Server (23:49) - Tried to ThunderDome the server. Automatically kicked and banned on log review. Submitted for global ban under report #280. Update: Globally banned.

25/08/12:

• Kerr (02:10) - Tried to make everyone on the server dance, automatically kicked and banned on log review. Submitted for global ban under report #281. Update: Globally banned.
• G-Man (02:24) - Tried to create a large land barrier, automatically kicked and banned on log review. Submitted for global ban under report #277. Update: Globally banned.
• OCTO (02:21) - Tried to create an ammo box, automatically kicked and banned on review. Submitted for global ban under report #278. Update: Globally banned.
• Krys (20:40) - Tried to ThunderDome the server, automatically kicked and banned on review. Submitted for global ban under report #313. Update: Globally banned.
• LoadingScreen (21:34) - Tried to destroy every vehicle on the server, automatically kicked and banned on review. Submitted for global ban under report #316. Update: Globally banned.
• PLAYER 1 (21:40) - Spawned 42 buses above a city and threw an impossible amount of Satchels and then tried to make everyone on the server dance. Not automatically kicked till that last one. Banned on log review. Submitted for global ban under report #317. Update: Globally banned.

26/08/12:

• (No Name guy #1) (00:10) - Tried to make himself invisible, automatically kicked and banned on log review. Submitted for global ban under report #321. Update: Globally banned.
• Breefhartje (00:11) - Spawned ammunition boxes, banned on log review and submitted for global ban under report #322. Update: Globally banned.
• Can You Beat Me ??? (18:07) - Tried to ThunderDome the server, automatically kicked and banned upon log review. Globally banned under report #396.

27/08/12:

• Rick Grimes (01:27) - Tried to make himself invisible, automatically kicked and banned on log review. Globally banned under report #408.

Also at the time of writing (22/08/12), iBattle BEC has detected and blocked 6 people from joining, unfourtunately, reasons for these bans are not disclosed.

 

All of time:

• Bluepanther - Insists on hacking by using public hacks, thus getting banned, constantly, and has had to buy 5 accounts so far. Why is a dog allowed any kind of currency, why didn't the person who gave him money not realise he is a dog, and therefore will bury the money in the backgarden and waste it on stupid things.

 

Even when not hacking, uses illegitimate means to get his weapons and gear, which sadly we can't ban for. (:C)

Or you can just play the game fair like I and many others do - I've had tons of fun without getting stupidly OP weapons instantly. I find it much more fun to build up tbh

Updated the list again. This post however, is to point out that an extra 300 bans were accepted to the community ban list today, and all the bans that are currently in the OP were accepted. Woo!

What's ThunderDoming?

 

It's the name of a script/type of hack. Basically the script builds a large arena called the ThunderDome, all players are then teleported into a random location within the ThunderDome and told to kill each other using weapons spread out across the arena. However, the hacker usually just plays target practice and kills everyone the moment they're teleported in. There are a fair few videos of it on Youtube.

It's quite a clever hack, as there's nothing in it's log line that screams that it's a hack, as it compiles an external script as the main body of it's actions. The compiling alone is cause enough to kick/ban someone though.
