Warnings system is up

    Warnings system is up

    As you may have noticed in between various errors on the forum the Warnings system is now up and running on both the forum and the members page :D

    (I don't really have 4 warnings - it's just to test it :P)

    To make someone think twice before being disrespectful to another member in GM.

    5 warnings and you will be forcibly removed from GM.

    We cannot allow people to feel like they can say "fuck you noob" and "gtfo we don't need you" without getting away with it from now on.

    Turns out there was a 20px margin in there for no reason :?

    Removed it and it's a bit better now :)

    Wheres my credit :P (:lol:)

    Also just an idea but does it say what the warnings are for (like beside it?) that would be a cool feature (if possible and if it doesnt take to much fiddling)

    We'll probably add a warnings database and management script(s) later, for now it's just a heavily modified custom profile field linked to the site's member page.

    Hehe yeah it's good.

    P.s. dunno if it's just my browser but I meant since the warnings column is vertical in the member bar on the left, it means there's often a lot of empty space in the post box after the sig to accomodate it, if the post is short...if that makes sense. :)

    Old version of internet explorer?

    I don't think any of the newer browsers would render my (well mostly my...) CSS like that... :?

    He means how there is gray under the signature before it goes to the next post because the avatar column bit is so big and some people have small signatures

    To be honest though im not bothered ^^

    EDIT1 i think the warning systems broken because Core has one warning and Darki has 4 but they arent shown on the forum bit (or is this because the members area section hasn't been updated?)

    EDIT2 Its just been changed to exactly how i wanted it :D

    To 80% it's your fault that we needed this warning system, so deal with it.

    it's just for testing reasons, both don't have warnings (at least those of darki are just for testing reasons)

    yea it's in testing, but you right, i notice it not auto updating on the forums. :shock:

    Unfinished code was uploaded to the forum over quite a long period of time, so ctrl+f5 to ensure you have the latest CSS etc. :)

    And both Core and me officially have 1 warning for the bad things we've done :P



    And if after ctrl+f5 you see it looking like anything but this then something is wrong: (post a screenshot of how you see it + browser/OS details)
