XenForo vs vBulletin lawsuit is over

    Just realised I haven't yet relayed this news yet, despite it happening nearly 2 weeks ago.


    Not sure if anyone knew/cared that Internet Brands (company that makes vBulletin forum software among other things) has been suing XenForo Ltd. (makers of our forum software) for the past couple of years. This has resulted in complete development stagnation, where absolutely no updates were released for XenForo (the version we're running here is about 1.5 years old) as the developers are the 'little guys' and had to find other jobs to help fund the lawsuit.

    Well the good news is that they reached a settlement (read: victory) at last: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/lawsuits-over-next.45107/

    And so we should start seeing some new releases soon, hopefully lots of nice new features to come :)
