Now I had this thought in the shower but bear with me. Jumping is a large part of tf2 with quite a big community, and I was wondering if a low population server like balloon race, for example, could be replaced with a GM Jump server. It could run a basic rotation of maps with rtv, so would need very little maintenance. Just tell me what you think, cheers. <3
Mhm, I think it'd actually be popular-ish, as I see a lot of people randomly rocket jumping on Orange. 'Course, that'd also mean less people on Orange, but, I doubt it would affect things much (for one, would they know about the rocket jump server, and for two, there's a difference between 'I'm having fun rocket jumping around and getting some kills' and 'I'm learning tricks now'). So, sure, could be tried out I suppose.
Jump server sounds like a really good idea. I like jumping and I also play on servers. Win win in my books.
