about recruitement i dont agree with the recruitment policies, every noob that posts here and plays a lot on the servers can join now, its way to easy to come into GM, i dont like it. for instance, im already GM3 now, which has to be the "highest rank"
Well Xtractor, please suggest what we can do to improve it. What do you think should be the requirements? I didn't want to make it too difficult because then people might get put off, what do you think? I might make stage 3 70 hours and 200 posts
What was wrong with the old methood, IF people want to join they will. Post/ask existing members. there oppinion, or old member what ever u wanna call us.
A higher rank than GM2 And they can. How about putting the recuitment polls back? I don't want to make people feel undervalued and I don't want them to feel left out either.
let the community decide, no play time, no certain amount of posts make 1 private forum for votes Dr Who wants to join - posts an application 3 week trial - vote on 4th week as the meerkat says - "simples" Managers Board of trustees - admins Gm Memebers Community lackeys anything else is over complicating
Yeah I know but if people want it then it's fine. Or you could tell me what you would like me to change in the new system
Uh ok then But should we still have the custom ranks? ([GM], [GM2], [GM3] ?) Might make it more interesting.
dont do the GM1 GM2 GM3 thing, just some simple rules to become a recruit, then after a week a voting about the recruit. and then your in GM simple. . for the rules : -active on the forums (X posts per week) -x hours on severs played -average kpd of 1.00 X = a number i dont know yet . thats my suggestion
Recruitment is all about getting your name known, shouldnt really matter whether they play 1 or 1000 hours on the server =) other things such as personality and how they interact with the community is important aswell, not just skill. Ofc its ganna take time. I got lucky with my recruitment process so yea... =P If people know and accept you then thats pretty much done and dusted right there, even if you arent officially part of the community
its not just skill indeed, but you do need some skill, but getting to know the community is important too.
