    I'll certainly give Aion a try, but it will have to be really good to beat WoW and AoC.

    Rant: I would still play WoW if it didn't sap time, but AoC has a great story which makes you actually want to read the lore behind each quest, so you get a lot more out of playing it for an hour or so every so often, unlike in WoW where you just race to level 80 using as many methods as possible to stop it getting boring, with a few fun things along the way.

    This might sound stupid, but this might be the only mmo I'll ever buy and subscribe too.
    Will need to get a better job though and collage might get in the way but I might just get it.

    There are open beta events coming very soon.
    Just have a look at the official website of Aion.

    Well, Beta is the wrong word for it.
    Because it is played since several months in Asia and it gets patched all the time.

    So when it comes to Europe, it will be nearly bugfixed.

    Resurrection.

    Should I buy the collector's edition or just the standard?

    "Black Cloud Wings (gives 40 seconds of additional flight time)" looks like it might just be worth the extra £10

    Buy the £45 one
    Your getting more for your money this way, 37 days free after the game releases, wings =o xp boost talisman, these are usefull =D and a title "Pioneer of Aion" ;p

    I have a slight limitation of STEAM NOT ACCEPTING SOLO AND MAESTRO FUCKING CARDS, plus paypal and natwest don't agree with each other so yeah, I have to look at alternatives like getting my parents to buy it for me then I give them the money later.

    Sounds stupid as fuck and I wish valve would get off their arses and add solo or maestro to the store.
