Computer reinstallation Hi every one, just a quick question, I'm going to have to reinstall windows soon, do I have to back up any steam applications or will all my achievements etc be saved with my steam account? Thanks in advance Micky 8-)
Re: Computer reinstallation achievements are saved with the account. However, the Favorite Servers and so on are not I guess. If you back up the "C:\Program Files\Steam\config" directory and put it back in after a steam reinstall they SHOULD still be there.
Re: Computer reinstallation Youll still lose skins etc if you do it that way, you can just back up all the game folders if you dont have to much (just leave the gfc files or whatever they are called.
