FastJohn PC is F**KED hey guys well, I was surfing the web then screen went black! :shock: The pc is still on, I shutdown, it reboots itself? :? So I tested the follwowing Monitor, 22' Samsung monitor is not affect- tested montior on other pc, working fine(great, cos it's a 200 quid monitor) [/*:m:38j6thzm] GeForce 9800GT (graphics card) not sure but taking it out then pc still wont work, im 70% sure it not the graphics card BUT when i took the graphics card out, it doesn't boot up itself anymore(thats good) :strange: need to test the card too [/*:m:38j6thzm] can't boot up on all my Sata Drives, gonna test each one later on, on my other machine. even my 40GB sata drive wont boot up(which got xp os on)[/*:m:38j6thzm] it could be the psu, cpu, motherboard etc :S If my pc is offical f**ked then I'll have to look for some parts or get a another pc. Overall, I havent got time for all this(will be working on pc in free time), need to work on this big assisgment for next week. enjoy the scout updates and have good weekend ps:I might dl tf2 on my other machine which i'll probably get some lags,it a low spec pc.(if got time)

Re: FastJohn PC is F**KED Update News I checked all HDD's- all working fine on other machine(files are safe) The only thing I can think of is either the cpu or the motherboard that the problem I don't think it the psu, I might try it with my old 400w psu and see. -John
Re: FastJohn PC is F**KED UPDATE NEWS: It's either the motherboard or the cpu or BOTH :oops: I'll be sending it to Intel office/warehouse, need to phone the sales office or some customer service where to send it. (it is still under warranty) I'll be ordering [strike:r5zj3ken]Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (not sure yet)[/strike:r5zj3ken] the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and ASUS P5QL-E motherboard 8-)
