"Fireproof Mass of Scar Tissue" (Spontaneously Combusting Shovel)

This was a modification idea I had based on the Mac update's comic.

Firstly I have this video I made much earlier today of what I had managed to produce so far:



I've added some stuff since the video:

• Optional "Power Play" causes the soldier to gain Ubercharge, Kritzkrieg and catch fire for the duration of the shovel's ignition (10 seconds.)
• Optional damage infliction upon the enemy: When the shovel is ignited, very close-by enemies are ignited, damaged, and sent flying!
• The shovel is now ignited when active via right-click rather than automatically.

I'd be epic if Valve actually incorparated this since the showel is pretty much shti and useless compared to the Equalizer.

 

Thinking about testing this on a server tomorrow, I'll probably have it work on the Stock Rotation server and get as many of you as I can to join and stress test it, the result should be chaotic and entertaining.

 

Unless this is purely for fun; what are the drawbacks?

 

This is purely for fun! I only intend to have it enabled during one game, mainly to collect footage for YouTube :3. In the version that I put on the Sourcemod forums (and the version that I'll be testing), the gameplay alterations can be disabled.
