GM Team Sign Up... (Who is in?)

Hi Guys,

As you may or not know, GM lost its clan players. Really i would just be interested who would like to play on a competative level?
I have played in a few test matches and it is very differant form the standard gameplay, it would really only be for people who have a competative streak. and i dont mean picking the winning team on a 32 man spam, its real test of skill.

I have a few people in mind who i think would be good for such thing.

My class offering would be Medic, Pro, Engi (At the Moment, but working on soli.)


For those of you that dont know matches are usualy 6 v 6.
Normaly consisting of 2 scouts, 2 soli, 1 medic 1 demo,heavy.

Also can be used sniper/pro.

you might want to change "clan" to "team" you had me worried for a second.

A lot of us were talking about this when we were playing left 4 dead on saturday, disco was up for it, tonk said hes up for it, and we need practice sessions maybe 1-2 times a week, and i think vacoy said he was up for it also.

And im Definitely up for it

Yeah let get this going. I can't commit alot of time due to RL etc. but i'll be interested in participating as much as possible.

Monday and Tuesday nights are very good for me to play. Or after 9pm anyother day.

If you are interested post below stating your 3 favourite class in order of skill and maybe days and times you could play. We should only recruit from the clan I wouldn't want to see any ringers again. So what that we might not be as good to begin with. It's about building your skills up and having fun with your mates

I am hoping to see about 12 interested clan members as that would mean we could play 6v6 (within gm) to practice, and have enough cover when we challenge outside the clan.

3rd Pyro

ps I will try and organise games inside and out of the clan as well, but I will need some help

Well the whole GM'F Team, as you may or may not know. GM for the time being is not a clan but a comunity. The question i am asking is would people like to make it a clan, And Woo i belive a soli position would be good for you buddie...

Lol thats translates to Heavy, Pyro... iv seen u medic mate.... its like ur playing left4dead.

That sound cool, i also chat to a few other clans, so im sure i could also help arrange some test matches.

Which makes 7-8 (pending Tonk.) which means we need 5 more. unless tonk wants in which means 4.
At some point i think we should all do a test game in the war server to find people streanths + weakneses.

Nice dennis I'm really up for this

First: scout/soldier (don't know which I play better or like more)
Second: sniper/demo (we have quite a lot good medics in GM right? so I think I don't go medic anymore in competitive play, so than my second class(es) is/are sniper or demo, again don't know which I'm best in..)

typical squad is

2x scout
2x soldier
1x demo
1x medic

we can swap

1x soldier <=> 1x heavy
1x scout <=> 1x sniper
but anything else, other classes are more or less useless in 6v6

everyone needs to be able to play at least 2x PCWs per week (that means like 3 hours in 2 evenings per week, but since we need 6 players, make that 4 evenings per week to get synchronized)

being able to play pickups besides those PCWs is a big advantage

i can play solly or scout or medic if needed

I'll be up for a piece of this action, but unfortunately I'm similar to Disco time-wise, I'm not home until 6pm weekdays and am sometimes busy in the evenings.
Depends when matches/practices are.
I'd play Heavy, Demoman, Soldier, Medic, Scout, Pyro :idea:

That makes 2 teams i belive, altho keep the interest comming. (Providing Tonk wants in.) But we also need sub's.

nah, every team needs to have 8-10 players minimum (to raise the probability that 6 are available for PCWs/matches)
