has anyone seen how far pagoda map goes

well myself , ash and kaka found out exactly how far and believe me the jumps in it are ridicolous

cool we got about as far as level 11 i think cuz the levels are written on the walls lol

I think it was lvl 8 we got stuck on.. you have to 1nade jump up onto this thin slope.. then place a nade down the middle of the slope.. slide down the slope let off the nade.. fly across the room land on a small stump (that starts sinking) and you have to nade 4 switchs in the room before it sinks.. INSANE lol

The stuff before it seems piss easy after attempting some of the later levels.

Just found out its not possible as demoman looks like we are gunna have to try it as soldier

Jump 8 is the one we got stuck on as demo.

Took us a while to work out some of the jumps as demo lol... seems we were using the wrong class

Could someone post a demo og themself getting onto the second ledge of the tower? Please.

I've been trying forever and it's IMPOSSIBLE.

Im guessing you mean the one where you have to rocket jump up the wall then rocket again and twist out around the edge?

I found it easiest to do a normal rocket jump against the wall then step backwards 1 step while shooting second rocket then move fowards again to hook back around took a while and some practice at first but once you do it a couple of times it becomes easy.

I've been trying that for a while, with no luck.

I think I really need a demo, to see exactly how you move etc.

i'm currently doing a demo for jump_adventure (just have to master the last 2 jumps on expert now), rj_rocketeer (thanks to some help with some of the jumps from pissmidget and ana i've nearly completed it). So ill be putting those up soon.

Message me if im online and ill show you how I do the second ledge on pagoda.

Well, I've seen people do it, lots of times. But I feel like I have to see it from 1st person to really understand how it is done.

1 sec ill make a dem of it in first person now and upload it.. dont have time to convert it and edit it so there will probably be some mistakes etc in it lol and youll have to run it through tf2 like you would play a normal demo file.

put that in your "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<username>\team fortress 2\tf" folder then go into console and type "playdemo jumppag2"

to see it in 3rd person type "sv_cheats 1" then "thirdperson" in console.

MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!

I actually managed to do it just after watching the demo I can do it every time now!
