Item levels

You guys ever noticed that the items you randomnly get have higher levels than the basic ones???

For instance: I've got a level 90 cloak and dagger

This whole system is just fail. You get the items randomly so some people will even have better stuff and you can't do a shit about it unless they introduce some kind of trading system. I just hate when I get stuff these days and have to remove then constantly.

yea... and idling for hats (which I do quite a lot)... I dunno, it looks like I'm not able to get any...

Hats is just a trick invented to keep us playing. They don't really exist.

Ive seen quite alot around TF2 and on the GM servers. My real-life friend has 1.

I've got no hats so far... But I've seen a LOT of pyro hats, also I've seen the scout's, the medic's, the heavy's and the spy's...

I don't know how the soli's and sniper's look like though...

The solly one looks like the original soldier hat but it's got a band around it that holds a pack of smokes, if i recall.

have seen all hats i think ... except snipers but i think it isnt a big diffrence to original .. just a detail isnt it?

Some people have like 5 hats, and alot of people have non, hmm..

Will your weapons/items still get higher levels when you remove the old ones?

No the duplicates you're getting, simply have higher levels instantly when you got them... But the levels make no difference

I lost my sandvich.

accidentally deleted it.

I had a level 88 sandvich, I deleted it and now I have a level 73 sandvich.
Oh and yeah, I have an afro.

If I'm not mistaken Valve has removed the dropping of getting hats since it was too buggy (A friend of mine got all the hats in like 6 hours, but some people including me haven't got any).

Wrong, they removed the issue with the hat farts where people would get a shit storm and others wont.
Bug in the drop system that has been fixed since.
Hats still drop at a rate of 0.05.

They're still being dropped yeah Idling server you can see it.
