my mouse freezez

    my mouse freezez

    i have this weird thing with my mouse that happend today, it freezes in random intervals. cant move, click or mousewheel etc. very weird never had it before.

    my brother said it was because of the wireless of my laptop that disturbed the signal, but im now on my normal PC and here it does the same.

    what could be the problem?

    Cable > Wireless.
    Sounds like either:

    1. Battery is fucked

    2. The receiver/port is not plugged in correctly (this happens to me when I yank my mouse to hard without knowing, ever seen a optical mouse flash like a strobe light? I have many times).

    3. If your using an optical mouse make sure there is nothing like a hair or something buried away in sensor.

    4. Clean it maybe, might sound stupid but cleaning things can solve all kinds of problems.

    ive got this very old white mouse thats about 10 years old that came with my dads first pc (packard bell) even tho its just a blank mouse lol ^^ it's brill

    wired ofc :) (on my pc)

    on my other pc with the games on its just a fujisti siemons black one xD
    ( cant spell it )

    i got the mouse togeter with the laptop from my brother, he had a new laptop + mouse
    + i dont like wires.

    does the whole pc hung up, too, or just the mouse?

    If yes, has it a looping sound then (for example when you are listening to music and it happens)?

    no i can just use the keybord and stuff.
    ive put the usb thing of the mouse into an other USB port of my computer (now in the back).
    maybe that will help. no freezes for 5 mins :)

    If I was you, I would check what Reag said first, but if your mouse is wireless it's sounds like mouse lag to me, this normally happens when you have a shit mouse.

    If I was you, I would go out and buy a wired mouse, there the best for performance.

    it would be best to get a wired mouse like danny said.

    I still have a wireless mouse (LX8), I used to play this in tf2. sometimes I use it for sniper :P
    but you switch to wired mouse or gaming mouse ,you'll see a big difference.

    anyway, first check to see if the mouse works on the another pc(if u got)

    Does it freeze in game only?

    well its very weird, sometimes it freezes in short random periods for quite some time, and some times it hardly freezes or even not :).

    i think its becaues the mouse is a bit old :).
