New [GM] Banner

    This has been bugging me slightly for a while now - in my opinion, the banner at the top of the page is in desperate need of an overhaul. Not only are quite a few of the games up there no longer relevant (Portal 2, Sanctum & Killing Floor are rarely played anymore, even maybe L4D) but I think a different format should also be considered. Possibly including characters from games that are played across quite a large volume of our community (Borderlands, League of Legends and possibly Xcom come to mind).

    Thoughts?

    A change from the current renderspam would be nice, but I don't know how it would be achieved. We definitely need a new one in either case.

    There's a handful of people playing, including me for example. It just doesn't have exposure because it's not a multiplayer game. (It has the feature it's just boring and imba.)

    Considering the games we play frequently, the main things up there should be tf2, garry's mod, league of legends and minecraft. The rest is up to interpretation.

    Garry's Mod isn't played that often, but I agree it deserves a spot up there along with other games. TF2 and Minecraft are already up there, and LoL is a no-brainer.

    If we're sticking with the render format, my suggestions would be

    -Sanctum
    -Killing Floor
    -L4D1 hunter
    -Portal 2

    +L4D2 boomer (or any other appropriate render)
    +LoL Sona
    +LoL Super minion
    +BL2 Salvador
    +TTT Terrorist
    +BoI Blue Baby/Cain

    Not entirely sure if XCOM is worth it

    Xcom was just a suggestion, it can easily be left out. I think the boomer should be interchanged with a charger, Sona with one of the original 40 League champions as well as Salvador with Roland.

    To be honest, this is still very much in the discussion stage. Whatever you've worked on, I'm pretty sure it can be used anyway.
