Oh how computer problems suck My 3 month old computer is overheating So no gaming until I fix it currently think it's the heat sink so already order one yesterday so next few days may need help troubleshooting if that does not fix it.Wat makes me mad the most is I am losing rank in prop hunt Edit:If you wonder why thats all I care about it's cuz I am waiting for l4d2 and I am planning a fresh os install sometime nextweek so I need to clean up my computer and there still is a bunch of anime I am backed up on that I need to watch.
Re: Oh how computer problems suck Real men don't use thermal paste. I need to buy some more at some stage, I'm amazed my cpu is still alive after a month of not having any. Also don't worry about ranks, it's just a number and to be honest, it just means you play a lot. Don't let your gaming style be over ruled by numbers. I'd also recommend maybe looking into maybe having some extra fans for the time being, that is if your case is not already full of them.
Re: Oh how computer problems suck What cpu + cooler are you running? I'm a fan of Arctic silver thermal paste (AS5 i believe). Easy to apply, good cooling performance.
