    The map time limit cvar is mp_timelimit but I think it's best if you let the server decide when to end the map. Correct me someone if I'm wrong.

    Also @Bun I couldn't change the textures without the map looking weird (and because of valve's distinct lack of good wood textures!) so I played about more with lighting to create different affects at both ends :-)

    I tried it in the weekend, this map is great for snipers up top! got shot 4 time since i first played, then i realise i should have gone on the bottom exit, but snipers still get you.

    Spies can't get up there on the other side, only demo and soldiers.

    You could get a sniper to cover you, then when their sniper is down, run!

    edit: If you run out of the door to the left and crouch quickly you can hide behind pipes btw you cant shoot through the pipes (!) sorry blame valve lol

    Also I don't think I could make a tunnel down one side, as each side is not a mirror of the other, it is a rotation so it might weight one team more than the other, e.g. the health would be nearer one end and the ammo the other. (hope that made sense!)


    Some one said that this map seamed very "death-match-ish" but if you tried hard, you could come up with some complex stratargies for winning :-)

    eg (for 8v8):

    • 3 go sniper at start[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • 1 pyro 1 heavy 1 soldier (e: could have demo instead of soldier - to stickybomb jump upstairs)[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • 2 Medic (edit: try one kritz - one uber ? )[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • Wait for the snipers to say go then rush[/*:m:1gprhhu4]

    Then after the cp has been capped:

    • one sniper and one medic switch to engi and build one sentry up front, with a dispenser next to it[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • then one build a teleport upstairs by jumping and placing[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • then build another upstairs while the soldier covers upstairs[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • Pyro cover downstairs[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • Heavy cover both by standing on pipes[/*:m:1gprhhu4]
    • Snipers busy shooting anything that moves[/*:m:1gprhhu4]

    How about adding some extra snipering places along the two long empty walls?

    Or maybe a little room with health and ammo in it - it gets a bit annoying having to run the whole way back to base just for health+ammo.

    my idea is a "underground" room with about 4 tunnels into all directions ;-)

    Hurm, the tunnels are one of two designs:

    • A laserquest-like arena[/*:m:2p9rqc9k]
    • A Very basic cross (but the tunnels are long, and good for snipers i will put obsticals in the way tho) :-)[/*:m:2p9rqc9k]

    Also I am adding a room to the side (behind the cow opposite the door), with 50% health and 100ammo. I'm not adding another upstairs bit, this would create toooo many snipe spots.


    edit: I'm also going to make the capture zone a little smaller, its too easy at the moment XD

    Pot - this is one of my favorite maps, well done!!!! It is sniper heaven though, even though you have covered a lot of the angles. Scouts and soldiers can get up to the snipers but it is v. 1-D. There needs to be another angle - I would suggest a tunnel exiting close to the main doors. You could then bypass the snipers. Any other access point would help.

    Anyway, much kudos on the map :P

    ty Protantus i am going to make some tunnels which come out in the middle I think, and I will try to make these sniper proof :-)
