    PH_Farm

    So, After 3 or 4 hours of mapping, I finally finished the brushwork for PH_Farm, which is the second dedicated PropHunt Map, And already has over 100x more brushes than warehouse.

    Dont mind me asking, but what does "brushes" mean in this context?

    Can you get on the roofs too? (Even the highest one, on the right side?)

    Starts to look nice too!

    And yes, if your good enough at jumping, you could get to the highest roofs, all those supports on the front of the building can't be stood on though.

    Brushes are the colours, the design of objects I guess. If you dont give it any brushes it will look orange-grey I think..

    No that is texturing :P

    Brushes are the blocks (cubes etc.) that make up the shape of the buildings, ground etc.

    The cp is supposed to be in that little building in the middle, right ?!


    Are there only 2 entrys going upstairs there ? Could be hard for the props to reach the cp ...

    That's a good thing :P

    The Pyros should be able to defend the CP if necessary

    The upper area of the barn in the middle is the RED spawn, the lower area houses the CP, along with 3 entrances.

    This map is too easy to win for the props. They can easily get up on the highest roofs without getting hurt while pyros are nearly dead when coming up on the roofs. There's also the fact that Heavies have absolutely no way to get access to the higher roofs.

    I'll be clipping off the higher roofs, and adding stairs on the lower ones.

    wrong ! ^^ shot with the shotgun on the ground while jumping backwards from one level to the next, -> works

    i was playing this on #5 last night, the players didnt like it much because there wasnt enough hiding spots for the big props apparantly ;p RTV came in straight away when it was available :'(

    Needs another health kit somewhere, needs some more stuff outside, CP is a death trap.

    The big water tank behind one of the houses is a skybox prop I think.

    I like this map, it's fun.
