Re: Please help You have conficker. http://www.joestewart.org/cfeyechart.html Go to this site and tell me if it looks like this.
Re: Please help Best thing to do when you get problems like that is to format the PC. Then install antivirus, spybot, firewall etc. before connecting to the net. Then make sure you run firefox with NoScript plugin + Ad block plus, haven't gotten a single virus or similar in years because of that. Of course if you download illegal games, movies and stuff then it won't help. Erik
Re: Please help need to confirm if he/she got conflicker 1st. it crazy virus, some of the schools in my area got infected. if not then what was last thing you download or installed etc
Re: Please help First of all get Firefox! Get these free tools • adaware • spybot, • HiJackThis • winsockfix v1.2 1. install and run the adaware/spybot updater 2. start-run-apps-accessories-sys... disk cleanup 4. reboot safe mode w/ networking (continually press f8 upon reboot) 5. Run adaware and spybot deleting anything they find. 6. Run Hijackthis (this shows all BHO's on ur browser~very important) 7. Run free online scan (trend.com bitdefender.com pandasoftware.com) remove any findings 8. Run winsockfix v1.2 9. reboot you might also try these commands in your run box start run cmd ~ ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip reset regsvr32 softpub.dll netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt netsh winsock reset catalog netsh interface ip delete arpcache Using Mozilla Firefox with the following addons; • Noscript, • Noflash, • Adblock, 90% reduction in spyware/malware! Also I recommend if you have the money, Webroot Spy Sweeper 6.0, and either Kaspersky or Nod32! If that doesn't work, Format, once you have your Windows installed and updated, create a Ghost Image, makes life so much easier!
