    It's kinda sad that i lost my old connection speeds.

    And speedtest.net never seems to go above 150mbps when bit torrent is fully capable of ~350mbps

    so they get better avg speeds
    35 mb is the norm there (http://www.netindex.com/)

    305 mb is a uni or collage
    doubt if its home line as it states its faster than 99% of country

    most countries are around 35 mb home line speeds

    And those speeds are averages from 2009, a lot has changed since.

    doesn't seem that bad, but add constant dropouts and ping fluctuations of 30-700ms and the average speed of virgin in my area being ~13Mb/s then it's turd in a wire.

    go to the bt site and see if your exchange has been upgraded
    other option is to see if you have a low ip profile
    low profile happens if you dc alot or reset/turn off your router

    my exchange was upgraded last year and i went from 8mb to 16mb
