The good thing that happened to you today

The best weekends are those where it's just you and some friends, in a place that isn't home, shooting the shit and eating great food.

This weekend was one of those weekends.

Today we went to the Texas state fair, lost a football game that Texas had no right to win, ate a load of fried food (including but not limited to friend oreos, fried jambalaya, and fried lemonade), had some beautiful home cooked brisket and drove 180 miles in a little over two hours shouting at Texas and playing a wonderful game of "Cop or not?" whilst also attempting to beat both the clock and the fuel gauge.

All this was great despite me having an awful headache exacerbated by having a cold, spending 5 hours in 90+ Fahrenheit temperatures, having had no sleep the night before and having to deal with crowds of people who don't understand how a fucking queue works.

Overall 10/10 would not go back to Texas again.

today there was some fair at uni with lots of companies coming in.

I didn't have time to go and see much (had 5 minutes till a lecture), but obviously I got the most important shit:

Been really ill all weekend and just got home from a shitty day at work. Found that I have two letters from HM Revenue & Customs which I feared would be the icing on the cake of shitness. Turns out I overpaid tax for the last financial year and have a £730 rebate to cash in, ayyyyyyy

 

So the g502 i ordered got lost in transit a while ago, and i was entitled to a free replacement, so i got my replacement about a week ago, and today, the first order came through.

tl;dr: i got two 75$ mice for the price of one.

 

Sell it.. easy moneyzzzz

 

Give it a few weeks, just in case they come looking.

Canon sent me a lens by accident. Good thing I didn't fuck with it, they sent me a letter a week later looking for it back.

 

nah they can't, they sent a replacement, the first order is deleted.

atleast thats how i think this works, but stuff like this happens a lot, i've seen a ton of posts on reddit etc of people getting a free video card by mistake and they just let them have it etc etc
