  2. Copenhagen games less than a week away now, very excited. Got a small sponsor for the event, fcomputer.dk is a fairly big electronic store here and they bought jerseys for us which is pretty cool.

Having a mini bootcamp with 4/5 players this weekend and then we're gonna also setup the day before the tourney and prac all day, super fucking excited

Just got back from another roadtrip.

Over 8 days we visited 10 states, driving 3,500 miles including one 750 mile day. We saw a small part of Yellowstone as most of it is closed for another month or so, but we did get to see Old Faithful erupt twice, the fountain paint pot, firehole falls, as well as many Bison, Elk, Deer and the alpha male and alpha female of a wolf pack that our guide hadn't seen for 3 years. That place is spectacular and I would absolutely recommend it to all of you if you ever get the chance to go to that part of the world. We also saw Devil's Tower, which was an amazing sight and gave us an opportunity to go on a calm and quiet walk through the nearby forest, which was a nice change of pace. From there we moved on to go and see Mt. Rushmore twice, once in the day and once when it was lit up at night. It's impressive and it's nice to say that I've seen it, but I came away a little disappointed honestly, it's so hyped up that you expect it to blow your mind but it didn't, which was a shame. Annoyingly all my photos from the day trip to Rushmore were taken with the same settings as the night trip because I'm a moron so they're very, very white. We also saw mountain goats at Rushmore as well as a beautiful walkway up to the viewing area with every state flag and the flags of the weird and wonderful US territories like Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. Also, Rushmore had hands down the best tat shop of anywhere so far, top tier tat. The final two days of the trip we stayed on a ranch in Kansas owned by a friend of the family of one of the people I'm out here with, and my god they served the best god damn steak I've ever eaten. Everything was fresh that day and cooked beautifully, even the wine was home made. They also had a pool table in the basement which we spent almost every waking moment at.

All in all a great spring break.

  4. Recieved our sponsor jerseys, they look sick! I'm really bad at taking pictures tho.

  5. Falsey John, the Goldfish: Never Forgotten

I probably mentioned this before but my academic year has been gimped by the NHS's love of waiting lists in-regards to mental disabilities/health. In September I went to the Med Centre at uni to get back onto medication for my ADHD and it resulted in a six month waiting list to see a therapist for a rediagnosis, followed by that waiting list being dissolved after six months and turned into another waiting list so that I should suspect to be back on medication by September; essentially completing an entire academic year with no medication for a mental disability.

Anyway, I got an obligatory invite to the Senior Advisor of the Literature Department to talk about my attendance. Was just expecting a slap on the wrists and mentioned how hard it was to balance studies with ADHD, a part time job and housing drama back in December and ended with the SA personally congratulating me on actually having gone to any seminars, let alone getting all my work in so far. I asked about extentuating circumstances where they take into account a personal issue that would have affected a period of work and raise marks accordingly, and she in turn brought up the possibility of repeating my second year.

Immediately ran down to the corridor to my actual Advisor (whose a pretty cool and useful guy when he's not ranting about CHAOS THEORY) and he gave me an hours worth of advice in regards to weighing up the pros and cons. This resulted in me getting into contact with my girlfriend, dad, mum, pseudo-grandad etc etc to ask for their opinions.

Eventually phoned student finance to ask if they'd be able to reimburse me a second year due to personal difficulties and it turns out that, apparently like most students in the UK, I have three years of finance plus an additional 'gift' year that I could put towards repeating.

About to send off an email to my senior advisor to ask about the next step and, Jesus Christ, it's like a world of different opportunities right now. Might even switch from English Lit to Creative Writing.

  7. Queenie Don't tell me what to do!!!

So it's kinda bad but with a good ending. This morning when driving to work I first saw a duck cross inbetween cars and cross a busy street. I have no clue if he made or or not. But right in front of my building a Moorhen (?) crosses right in front of me. I have time to stop so it can cross but there are cars coming from the other direction, and the fucking sack of worthless fucking shit does not slow down and nips the bird sending it flying into the gras next to the road. I parked my car, called the animal hospital as I am grabbing a box and saved the little guy. He was very mellow when I put him in the box but by the time they came to pick him up he was biting the dudes hand till it almost bled. <3

Today I came back from the local round of the world scholars cup competition (you can read about it here but i doubt most you give a shit http://www.scholarscup.org/)

and the two day competition was one of the most fun things i've ever done, i met some lovely people, really bonded with some friends through this, and it was super laid back and fun.

also my team (three people), won thirty-six medals and four trophies, I personally netted eleven medals, and took one trophy home. overall in the competition we were second(!) place, out of about 53 teams/places.

gonna upload some pics tommorow but im knackered

might upload some pics of me with the medals and some with my mates and stuff later

Got my new moto E 2nd gen & adsl internet now ^^ 30 mbs down and 30 mbs upload

Its a budget phone but it works rather well for its price and im impressed with the overall feel of the phone.
(As its now a solid backside sitting quite firmly with the phone (needs to remove the rubber rim on the outside to open that most likely)

And you just move the rubber rim outside of the phone to access the sim slot and micro sd slot on the side)
The camera is ofc pretty bad indoors but im not going to take photos with it anyway.
for its price being a clean android & quadcore phone its pretty great value for what it is.
the screen while being a lower resolution then my moto g, i havent really noticed a difference at all.
