    Bearing in mind my pc is about 2 years old, I never expected it to score so high. (7.9 = Max.)

    When I was on w7, went back to XP because it's quicker on my machine oddly.

    Mine - my primary hard drive died so I'm having to make do with an old 120GB IDE drive. It's all good enough for what I want it to do - with the graphics card being over two and a half years old I think it's still brilliant :3

    It's really good, well worth buying (I'm gonna run the Win 7 RC Canidate til march next year since it works fine til then.. :))

    I'm gonna grab a cracked RTM of Home Premium (Pro and Ultimate are way too expensive), and in the highly likely event that the crack fails, I'll buy it.

    Plus there won't be any hassle with moving from RC to RTM

    OEM licenses are usually cheap, home premium OEM will be like.... 100 pounds or less (at least from swedish pricing and sweden is expensive..) That's not very expensive for something you use several hours a day for a couple of years. But hey, I cannot force you to get some moral. ;)

    Man, thats like what.. 2 pc games? or 1½ console game? Not too much to ask for support and free updates for an application that you need to run the PC. Otherwise I would recommend linux to the rest or similar free OS.

    Yeah I'm definitely going to buy it :P

    But I'll be installing from the MSDN RTM version and running trial until it's released.

    I do think Win7 has some network "issues" with the older winXP..
    I had a small lan party this weekend and we have lots of issues with network (connecting to lan games) with the win7 computers. Could be, because its RTM or RC2 version, but I do hope, MS gets that fixed (Or already fixed) it for the final retail/oem version.
    Otherwise, win7 is no better than vista, networking wise.

    There is no full release. The 7600RTM isn't an RTM at all, I am pretty sure.

    MSDN and TechNet subscribers already got the latest release that will be out in the stores on 22 oct.

    We got some release to work, not sure which "version" though, it says Windows 7 ultimate, but I guess thats some company kind of windows we got since it's not out in store yet.
